OKEE-HEE-LEE!

Our Okeeheelee Tribe 10u A team battled literally from the bottom to the top to win the State Tournament in Ocala this past week!

This group of 11 boys have learned to play with heart, grit, and determination. No other team has as much heart as they do!

Our Okeeheelee Tribe boys just won the State Tournament in Ocala and are heading to the Regional Trounament in Jacksonsville FL. This is one of the farthest locations that our team has had to travel to and by far the BIGGEST accomplishment they have achieved.

All funds raised will go to support the 11 families as they travel across the state and stay for 5 nights to battle to win the title of Southeast Regional Champions.

In a double elimination bracket, Tribe lost the first game of the tournament - knocking them straight into the losers bracket. The boys had to fight all the way back with 5 straght games. If they lost one more game, they were going to be sent home.

Tribe won two games back to back on Friday, and one on Saturday to send them in to the Championship bracket! The game on Saturday was redemtion against the team that sent the boys into the loser's bracket.

Sunday comes around - and it's go time! Tribe boys knocked out the team from the winner's bracket in the other pool to go into the championship game! As we begin the last inning of the championship game, Tribe was up 6-2 when they were determined to secure their championship win, scoring 6 more runs in the last inning. The final score was 12-4!
