OKC Museum Marathon Remembering Alan Whicher

Tax deductible
As the 30th anniversary of the Oklahoma City Bombing approaches, we run to remember all 168 victims, but especially Alan Whicher.

Even after his death, Alan has touched the lives of people who never met him. He is a grandfather to seven: Emma, Hunter, Faith, Ashley, Jett, Lucy, and Caroline. His grandchildren will only ever know him by listening to others' memories.

Alan is missed by all who knew him. He was a husband, father, brother, uncle, son, and friend—lost to a tragedy that should never have come to pass.

The Memorial and Museum are a testament to the lives lost and the families who remain. We stand among the empty chairs and mourn the lost. We walk through the museum and travel back in time to the events of April 19, 1995. The site is not just a Memorial and a Museum, it is an experience. Let's make sure to keep this important monument to our history open and available for generations to come!
