Hello my name is Daryl. My girlfriend's cat, Okami was recently diagnosed with cancerous nodules all the way into her Thyroid. She has been on medicine for the past two years for an irregular thyroid activity with a seemingly moving target of treatment to maintain regular levels. After several tests, the Veterinary Hospital she was being treated at revealed that she had these nodules which would need to be treated by a high dosage of radioactive iodine. This treatment is only available in a few places as it is dangerous to handle due to the level of high radioactivity. We would need to travel roughly 10 hours to the nearest facility for treatment. Okami would then be in isolation for roughly a 2 week span with no contact from either my girlfriend of myself as she will be radioactive for that timeframe. The treatment is expensive to say the very least but is the recommended treatment for her condition. I hope that you can help us to get Okami the treatment that she desperately needs.
