Kelly's New Beginning Fund

Addiction is overlooked and misunderstood in so many ways that people just ignore it. But the harsh reality is that millions of people struggle with addiction every single day. Addiction is a disease that must be taken seriously. My mom Kelly has been struggling with addiction for many years now. She has watched her friends with addiction lose the battle which just made her disease stronger. She has tried many times on her own to fight this battle of a lifetime, but has struggled doing it alone. She not only has God by her side now, but has finally decided to get professional help to make sure this disease is put to a STOP once and for-all. The main reason why my Mom has not chosen to go to rehab sooner is because the price of treatment is very expensive, even though her LIFE is priceless, cost of fighting this disease is more then you would expect. I thought long and hard on whether I wanted to ask for help with paying for my mothers treatment, but I realized that it isnt just for treatment, its to save her life. My Dad is the only man I know that would sacrafice anything to make sure our family is always ok,  and he needs help with this one. I am thankful for this opportunity to spread the word on how serious this disease is and to hopefully open the eyes of others to take Addiction seriously and not to turn away from the reality.
