Ojana's USVI Repair Fund

Imagine a catastrophic Category 5 hurricane passing over American's paradise (US Virgin Islands). That is exactly what Hurricane Irma did on September 6th. For the Virgin Islands, this was their worst nightmare come through. My mother, an elderly woman, was alone, scared, as Hurricane Irma whipped through the islands. My brothers, stuck in other areas of the island, one working at the only hospital on island, experiencing the roof, windows and partial collapse of one wall, the other being trapped in a home that lost its roof as well. 

The day after, the aftermath of the storm cause another nightmare, my family home of 4 generations was heavily destroyed. Major flooding on the island of St. Thomas caused water damage to our entire home, electrical damage, roof damage and  almost half of our windows (the home is a History designation) are gone.  All of my families personal effects either destroyed or gone due to the tremendous force of this storm. 

I'm reaching out to friends and family, near and far for help, as I am currently trying to raise funds to repair my home so I can provide my family a safe haven.
