Help Support OJ Cade’s Recovery Journey

Life can change in an instant. For our family, that moment came when my husband and best friend of 25 years, OJ Cade, suffered a traumatic spinal injury that has left him partially paralyzed.

OJ recently underwent extensive back surgery and now faces a long and difficult road ahead—7 to 9 months, possibly up to a full year, of inpatient rehabilitation. During this time, he will be unable to work.

OJ has always been the rock of our family—the sole provider—while I live with a permanent disability. Now, with him out of work and our lives turned upside down, we are asking for your help.

Why We’re Asking for Support

We are humbly seeking donations to help cover our monthly bills, medical expenses, and basic living costs. With my limited fixed income and OJ unable to provide for us during this recovery, we’re facing financial challenges we never could have prepared for.

Every single donation—no matter the size—will go directly toward keeping our household stable while OJ focuses on healing. If you’re not able to donate, we ask that you send up a prayer for strength, hope, and healing. And if you can, please share this post with others who might be able to help.

Following OJ’s Journey

As OJ begins his rehabilitation, I’ll be posting updates, photos, and videos when I can. I spend all of my time at his side, supporting him mentally and physically, and I want to share his progress and celebrate his strength with all of you who are lifting us up.
