rapids ,rivers, mountains of USA and Alaska are my life..for a few decades when not rowing rivers there I have been rowing in East Africa. Running a river here in Tanzania is incredible!!!while involved in exploring the vast wild lands and rivers of tanzania , well lets cut to the point, I married a Tanzanian citizen, an incredible Woman. We have a 6 yr old daughter who after losing her 4 yr old cousin in a heart disease situation became so close to another cousin , a girl, so sweet and gentle, these 2 kids are tight , as close as kids get. a week ago the 4 yr old ran into the kitcchen colliding with a stove full of oil cooking up chips, fries.the boiling oil burned mainly her tiny stomach,,,with arms, chest also major burned...she is not improving ,infection is terrifying us and we dont know what else to do so we ask for help.river guides are not rich although my Grand Cyn Colorado river season starts next month ,at this time we are financially in dire need . we must move kidogo dada (little sister) from a government hospital to a more specific private hospital better suited for burned children, possibly having to fly her to Nairobi Kenya!
Time is catching up to us , I must return  to Arizona to row my boat! To earn a living . yet kidogo dada can not wait for my first paycheck of the season in late April! we are so concerned for her long term healing and recovery..

please consider this child  she is priceless

her uncle, thats me ,Jimi Hendrick
her aunt ,Ketty Mwinyimvua

WE ARE AT PRESENT GOING TO CREATE HERE A NEW CAMPAIGN ! along with #GoBeyondGiving ...then
4 yr old is now 6 and she is in the care of Catherine Mwinyimvua who also cares for her 8 year old child Kidogo Dadas big sister! Catherine has had two major surgeries herself in the years following little sisters burns which still need further treatments...Catherine has had uterine cancer and is trying to get strong enough to get back to working and continue on with her education...after her husband suffered injuries in his last season as a river guide the stress of his surgery and loss of work has led to a marital breakup leaving her with no income...the situation is grave she needs a hand up cause life in Tanzania is not easy..
