Hi My name is Skyler. I am a transgender man in the state of Ohio raising money to be able to leave Ohio as it is becoming INCREASINGLY dangerous to stay here as an openly transgender individual who refuses to go back in the closet. From Bathroom Ban laws, the budget bill defining what gender is, the unintended affects of SB172 as it's already passed the senate and waiting to be voted on in the house before heading to Governor Dewine's desk to be signed into law, The anti trans medicaid laws not just in Ohio but countrywide after the "Big Beautiful Bill" passed not funding HRT and other gender affirming care services for trans people (isn't directly affecting me but my health insurance that's paid for monthly has decided to preemptively ban coverage of my HRT because of it even though it's not state funded insurance at all).

The funds will go to helping afford land costs including closing costs and taxes, a trailer that will hook to the back of my Jeep to haul all of my personal belongings with me (as I uproot and pack up my entire life and say goodbye to where I called home for 11 years and my family), building costs to create permanent structures, Gas for my car, the LLC cost in order to protect the land and myself more from the government and about a months worth of groceries to get me by till my godfather inheritance hits after he passes. As my safety is not only my priority but also has become the priority of my immediate family just we can't afford with the bills we have at moms house to afford the land for me to move earlier than end of next year (if then..)! Moving into raw land (even ones with a few buildings currently there) is the safest option for myself while staying in the states.
