Help Our Family and Community in Jamaica Rebuild After Hurricane Melissa
Hi everyone,
We’re Candice and Glenroy Lewis, a loving couple originally from Bethel Town, Jamaica — born and raised in the same community that has now been devastated by Hurricane Melissa, a Category 5 storm that struck Jamaica on October 24, 2025.
We’ve been married for six years and together for eight, and now live in Texas with our four beautiful children. Even though we’re far from home, our hearts are still deeply connected to our family and friends in Bethel Town. Many of them lost everything in the hurricane — homes flattened, food and clothing gone, and no access to clean water or electricity.
Seeing the videos and hearing the stories from our loved ones has been heartbreaking. Families are sleeping in damaged houses, some with children who have nowhere safe to go. We want to do everything we can to help them rebuild their homes and their lives, but we can’t do it alone.
Your donations will go directly toward:
• Rebuilding and repairing homes destroyed by Hurricane Melissa
• Providing food, clean water, and basic supplies
• Supporting families in our community who lost everything
Even a small donation can make a big difference — a meal for a hungry child, or materials to help repair a roof.
Please consider donating or sharing this page to help us bring hope and stability back to our community in Bethel Town. Every bit of support means the world to us and to the families who need it most.
Thank you for your kindness, love, and prayers.
With gratitude,
Candice & Glenroy Lewis
on behalf of our family and community in Bethel Town, Jamaica
