Ohana: Darci & Maggie Espina in Maui

Hello friends & family.
Now that West Maui is starting to get some functioning going again it’s time in which monetary support could be needed. Previously only physical assistance would have made a difference. The Locals have been coming together from all the Islands straight to the beaches of Napili bringing food and needed supplies.
Mom, sister, nephew (Kili) are safe as well as their homes but of course had been cut off from the rest of the world as far as communication and most government assistance to that part of the Island. They are completely devastated.
My sister had her own business in the tourist industry which is completely gone at this point and time. Mom was about to start a job in the tourist industry right as the fire hit.
I did the math based on their needs for rent, utilities, bills, and supplies for 10 months. I figured this would buy some time until we can figure out the future of their lives and income.
This will be delivered directly to Darci so she can take care of her family & mom.
Any amount would be a great Blessing!
Close friends have been contacting me to see if we could bypass giving here because GoFund Me charges fees. I do appreciate that and would definitely get those monies over to them. The issue is that they still do not have internet connection. They can’t even receive pictures nor videos thru text. Mom happened to have an old radio, if anyone knows what those are these days, and that is her only information coming for the outside. With that said my sister is not able to check her bank accounts nor verify anything. Yesterday she was able to travel outside of Lahaina of over an hours drive to get supplies and quickly check things on internet. She is still in need of food and did use some money to purchase yesterday all while trying to be wise to make monies stretch for the long run. If you are a close personal friend we can wait it out to see when she has full access to her applications and bank account details. Thank you so much!
