The 2022 OH Debate program has reached incredible new "heights". Currently, we have 55 competitors on the Speech & Debate Team. The team had competitors rank in the top six of every event entered, at every tournament throughout the year, totaling in well over 50. We've seen more national qualifiers for the NCFL Grand National Tournament year after year for the last six consecutive years.

 

At the most recent national qualifying tournament in February, the team had 15 students qualify for the NCFL National Speech & Debate Tournament in Washington DC. This is, by far, the highest number of eligible students the school has ever had qualify. But, the only thing that could potentially prevent some of these students from seeing their efforts come to fruition is a lack of funding to send them and lodge them while at the competition. In order to do this, the team will need an additional $5,000 in order to ensure that all 15 competitors get a chance to compete. So we need your help!
