Ofon Udofia's Memorial

It's been almost a year that our dear sister Ofon Udofia passed on to glory at the age of 39 years after her battle with cancer.  Sister Ofon was a passionate worshipper of God, she served faithfully in our church's worship ministry, she also served in various ministries where her support was needed. 

She left behind her husband Ubong Udofia and her two sons Meyene (12yrs) Medara (10 years).  It's  amazing the strength, peace and calm both the husband and children have shown even in a very difficult time of their life; God's grace has truly kept them in the last 12 months.  We want to use this time to appreciate everyone who has taken time to pray for them, visit them, have conversations with them and show your care and support in various ways.   

In remembrance of our sister and in showing support to the two young boys she left behind, we have set up a campaign to raise a minimum of $3,000 towards the college education of the children.  All funds raised will be equally divided between the boys and deposited in their 529 savings plan.

The scripture encourages us to care for the cause of the fatherless and motherless.  Prayerfully give to this campaign and I know God will bless you and reward your generosity.

Isaiah 1:17 "Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow"

James 1:27 "Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
