My sister, Darla, lost her husband of 35 years to Covid, on December 9, 2020. My nieces, nephew, great nieces, great nephews, extended family and friends are heartbroken during this difficult time.
Not only was this very unexpected, it was during a time in our lives that made it especially difficult because no one was able to be at the hospital with Lawrence during the 18 days he was in there, until the very last night.
During the past few weeks they have experienced lost wages, medical bills, and now with the expenses that come with a loved one dying they will have financial stress on top of the difficult stress that is already in their lives.
Many of you have expressed what you can do for the family (and my sister doesn't like to ask for help), so I wanted to create an avenue for anyone that wants to help the family financially, they can.
In memory, a percentage of the donations will be given to Caring Bridge as that platform was definitely a blessing for our family to relay this heavy news each day.
Please help my sister take care of her family, if you are able to donate.
