Ofie's Funeral & Family Support

In 1973, Ofie Untal left behind her life in the Philippines to help ease the nursing shortage in Memphis, TN. She happily and proudly served the sickest of the sick at the Elvis Presley Trauma Center at Regional One Health for more than 40 years.
On May 8, 2017, she was in a car accident on her way to work. She was under the care of her very own trauma family. Despite the wonderful care Ofie received, she left us to be with Our Lord on May 10, 2017.
A beneficiary was not designated before Ofie's passing, therefore there is no means to cover the costs of her funeral and burial.
Please give Ofie the same love and compassion she showed our city as a Registered Nurse. Help us give her a proper burial that she so deserves.
In addition, her brother-in-law and niece Angel would like to travel to the U.S. from the Philippines to bid proper farewell to their loved one. Help us to support her family, including Edward Blazes who she spent 35 years of her life with.
Ofie, we will miss your fun-spirited, sweet, loving nature. We know that you are smiling down on us and we will forever cherish the memories we shared with you!
