Hi, my name is Christine and I am fundraising to help offset the training costs for my service dog Jade. I am a single mom of two amazing kids, the Scoutmaster for my son's Scouts BSA Troop, an avid outdoor enthusiast, a scientist, and am also a woman survivor of assault and abuse. I have been struggling with PTSD and general anxiety for many years.

I am preparing to welcome Jade, my pup who will be trained as a psychiatric service dog, into my life and home. For the first time in a very long time, I have hope that with Jade as my partner, I will be able to live a happier and healthier life.

Training for Jade will be a life-long endeavor, but this fundraiser will help offset the costs of that training so that she can be certified as a service dog. Any additional funds raised will be utilized for Jade's medical care (i.e. spaying) and to prepare our home for her presence (i.e. completing the fence in our yard).
