Official Selmer, TN Tornado Emergency Relief

UPDATE: Thank you for your support for the Selmer community. Shortly after the storm, professional scammers began posting on major news sites and forums raising money. Several people were working to have those taken down and we were successful in many cases. At the behest of professionals who deal with these types of situations often, an “Official” GoFundMe was created. As you can imagine, there are many rules regarding this and all were met, hence the tag Protected Donation. All funds were promptly deposited directly into the Tornado Relief Account at Cadence Bank in Selmer, TN, as promised. And that transfer was overseen by the President of the Bank. Funds have been used to help put victims in temporary housing, replace necessary items and medications, and feed countless families. So thank you again for being a blessing to those impacted in our community.

This is the OFFICIAL GoFundMe for Emergency Relief for Selmer, TN after the devastating tornadoes that ripped through in the night on April 3rd, 2025. These funds will be disbursed by a local Emergency Relief team designated by the Mayor. I am local and have been asked to create and manage this GoFundMe for these purposes.

These funds will be used to provide supplies and emergency assistance to those in the Selmer area impacted by the storms.

Supply donations are also being accepted at the Selmer Civic Center.
