Official Kenny Reagan Memorial and Family Fund

On August 20th we lost an amazing friend, brother, cousin, coach, and coworker. Kenny lost his battle with COVID-19 after contracting the virus while helping others as a Respiratory Therapist at Hollywood Memorial Regional Hospital. Nothing could have stopped him from doing everything in his power to help others. He lived with incredible passion and joy, as evidenced by the countless number of amazing memories that he has left us with. Whether he was jamming next to you on stage, coaching you on a baseball team, caring for you as a patient, or just being an amazing friend and father, Kenny had the ability to make everyone feel special.
Kenny was a proud Marine who loved his country. He loved having a glass of Jameson with friends, and he loved watching the Miami Hurricanes (although only when they were winning). He loved cruising around on his Harley, coaching dozens of baseball teams, barbequing with old friends, watching live music, and playing in bands with an amazing group of guys over the years (including Trial Run, SA Woody, Baker Act, Riverdown, Stiff Richard, and more).
As much as he loved all of these things, nothing was more important to Kenny than his family. He was an exceptional father to his daughter, Madison, and son, JB; both of whom are following in his footsteps and beginning their careers helping others as healthcare professionals. Kenny loved nothing more than spending time with them and was so proud to watch how successful they have become. Kenny was also a devoted husband to his high school sweetheart Shari, the woman he knew since he was 12 and was lovingly married to for 30 years. Kenny and Shari shared a deep and profound love that is the model for a true “love story”. Each person selfless and part of a larger whole. They are both an inspiration and an example for everyone that knows them. It simply impossible to imagine one without the other.
We have all been so exceptionally fortunate to have had our lives positively impacted by Kenny and I know that many of us are struggling with the hole that he has left in our hearts. Over the past few days, many people have reached out to ask how they can help the Reagan Family. This fundraiser has been organized so that we can care for Kenny’s family in the same way that Kenny would have cared for ours. All donations will help the Reagans over the next few months as the family begins to make this difficult transition.
