Official Irrawang PS and Thou-Walla Fire Support

Sadly, on the 20th of March 2022, Irrawang Public School suffered a devastating arson attack and extensive vandalism, resulting in significant damage to most buildings within Irrawang Public School and our Thou-Walla Community Centre being completely destroyed.

Due to an outpouring of generous offers of financial help and donations, Irrawang Public School Parents and Citizens Association have set up this Go Fund Me page to support the Irrawang Public School Community.

These funds will assist with purchasing items lost in the fire and damage caused by vandalism. Unfortunately, insurance alone will not replace the vast amount of resources that have been lost.

Thou-Walla has been called the heart of our school and community. They host a range of programs for young children and families, including playgroups and mother's groups, provide courses and support networks for families and organise community events, just to name a few. Thou-Walla co-ordinator Gina is an integral part of our school community and contributes generously to school initiatives such as Harmony Day, NAIDOC Week, and Breakfast Club.

While the journey to repair our school and rebuild Thou-Walla will take many months, we know our community will rally behind us.
