Dedicated police officer of over 20 years, Family man hit by an uninsured motorist.. His family is in need of your help..
Off Duty Officer Steve Giniat was hit on his motorcycle on Sunday August 13th. The man who hit him was an uninsured driver driving on a suspended license using his daughters boyfriends vehicle, the man also had a warrant out for his arrest and posted bail that day. My uncle is currently suffering from multiple injuries, including his right hip is broken, his right femur is shattered(already had the surgery for that injury), his left wrist is broken, his left ankle is broken, his left foot is broken in so many places there is no guarantee of it ever getting better(about to undergo surgery for that), his right thumb is dislocated with severe tendon damage(waiting to have surgery on that injury), both arms are completely casted, cannot put any weight on any weight bearing bone. He may be 50% better by 6 months with no guarantee, and is completely out of work for over a year.
My uncle provides for 4 children and my aunt on a policemans salary, he is a hard worker with a huge heart for his family at home. He does everything he can to make sure they are taken care of.
