Officer Sean Sluganski Memorial Scholarship

Sean Sluganski was an officer for the McKeesport Police Department who was killed in the line of duty on February 6, 2023.

Sean grew up in North Baldwin and graduated from Baldwin High School in 2009.

To honor his legacy, Baldwin-Whitehall Educational Foundation [BWEF] will award the Officer Sean Sluganski Memorial Scholarship to a graduating senior of Baldwin High School who intends to pursue a career in law enforcement and crime prevention.

The scholarship will be awarded annually and ensure that Officer Sluganski’s sacrifice will be remembered forevermore by his alma mater and the community where he grew up. A fundraising campaign is currently underway to support this scholarship and we invite you to please consider contributing to this effort. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

The scholarship is co-sponsored by the Sluganski Family, the Baldwin Borough Police Department, Baldwin Township, the Whitehall Police Department, Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 91, the McKeesport Police Department, the Baldwin-Whitehall School District, and BWEF.
