UPDATE FROM THE BOGAN LAW FIRM, APC.

The creator of this this fund, Harinder Toor hired The Bogan Law Firm, APC, to assist in the legal transfer of monies of this campaign. The purpose of the campaign has changed from providing monies directly to the widow of Fallen Officer Ronil Singh, to the Stanislaus Sworn Deputies Association which has created a Corporal Ronil Singh Memorial Fund.

1.  Why did the purpose of your campaign change?
Harinder Toor began this GoFundMe campaign to assist the family of fallen Newman Police Officer Ronil Singh. After meeting with the widow and family of Fallen Officer Singh, Mr. Toor has learned that the widow and family is asking for these monies raised by Mr. Toor’s campaign to be provided to the Stanislaus County Sworn Deputies Association. That Association has provided the family with both financial and emotional support. In order to comply with the wishes of the widow, the fund designation will be changed from the Singh family to the Stanislaus County Sworn Deputies Association for the further funding of the Ronil Singh Memorial Fund.

2. How will the donations be used moving forward?
The funds will be provided directly to the Stanislaus County Sworn Deputies Association who has set up the Corporal Ronil Singh Memorial Fund. As such these monies will be used to further fund that Memorial Fund

ORIGINAL GOFUNDME PURPOSE

Officer Ronil Singh of the Newman Police Department was gunned down on December 26th, after a routine traffic stop. We're setting up this memorial fund to help his family after this tragic loss.

The organizer of this fund, Harinder S. Toor, has pledged $1,000 in donations to Officer Singh's family. We'd like to continue this spirit of friendship and generosity through this fundraiser.  We are looking for someone, anyone that can help. 

At the very least, we ask that people share this fundraiser to friends and family so that we can give back to one of Stanislaus' finest.

All proceeds will be going to Officer Ronil Singh's family so that they may organize a proper memorial to a good friend, brave officer, and loving father.

This fund is organized to help cover expenses for the family - a wife and his newborn baby - in the absence of a breadwinner. A Blue Line Family needs our help and we must answer the call.
