Officer Pente was responding lights and siren to assist another officer in need of help when a car pulled out in front of him causing a bad accident with his cruiser flipping multiple times. He sustained severe injuries and had to undergo multiple surgeries to his right leg. He has a long road ahead of himself and although workers comp covers some medical bills, it does not cover many expenses that he and his family have had to manage since the accident.
