My name is Joon Kim l’m 37 years old, born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I served 6.5 years in the US Air Force, and 5.5 years with the Brawley Police Department. I am a single father of two girls who are ages 6 and 3. I was recently diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkins lymphoma in my lymph nodes, throat, and both sides of my neck. I will be receiving my third round of chemotherapy on 08/13/21. After chemotherapy I will be reassessed by CT Scan to possibly undergo surgery for any remaining cancerous cells.

I have been on medical leave due to the fact that I am unable to continue working. I have exhausted all my sick time and vacation time. I’m asking for financial assistance as I am currently not receiving a paycheck. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.
