Officer John Anderson Memorial Fund
On July 4, 2019 around 3 am Metro Nashville Police Officer John Anderson made the ultimate sacrifice. While responding to a call for service, Officer Anderson's patrol car was struck by a Ford Fusion that had fled from another officer moments earlier. Officer Anderson's car spun several times before hitting a pole, then catching fire. Officer Anderson was pronounced dead on the scene. This is a tremendous loss for friends and family, especially tragic for Officer John Anderson's 18 month old son, Gavin, who will grow old without his father.
