Officer Emmanuel "Manny" Araneta served with the Alhambra Police Department for 12 years, where he served as a Patrol Officer, but primarily served as a School Resource Officer.  Manny was loved, admired, and respected as a member of the Law Enforcement family.  Manny was nationally recognized as a top School Resource Officer.  Manny loved serving his community, his peers, but most of all, Manny adored his wife and 3 children.  Manny sadly leaves us and leaves behind his wife and 3 children, 17, 12, 8.  Seven days after his 50th birthday, Manny suffered a fatal heart attack while physically training.  This go fund me is setup as his friend and co worker; all proceeds will go to the Araneta children in a trust for their future.  Nobody deserves to be without a parent, a father, a father figure.  Manny will always be in my heart and prayers, amongst many.  Rest in Peace, Manny, we will hold the line from here.
