Officer Brianne Jones

On April 25, 2024, Officer Brianne Jones was responding to a high priority call when she was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident. As a result of the accident, Officer Jones sustained multiple serious injuries, and she remains hospitalized at this time. She has had several surgeries, and more are expected in the future. Officer Jones is going to have a very long road to recovery.

Any financial assistance provided will help support basic financial needs for Officer Jones such as rent, food and medical expenses.

Officer Jones has been with the Durham Police Department for 5 years. Prior to joining the police department she served as an Airborne Combat Medic in the United States Army, and was deployed to Afghanistan. Officer Jones is also an active member of the Fraternal Order of Police.
