Offering for the Loto Family

College of San Mateo student, Leuea Loto, was killed in a shooting this week November 22, 2018 on Thanksgiving Day. In addition to Leuea’s devoted roles as a son, brother, student athlete, and scholar, Leuea was an active member in MANA and was also a member of the CSM football team. Leuea was finishing up courses at CSM and was set to transfer and continue to play football on a scholarship to Missouri Valley College. His official visit to Missouri Valley College was scheduled for next week.
Leuea traveled back to his home in Washington for the long Thanksgiving weekend. It appears that two groups got into an argument while playing a pick-up game of football. Some members in the other group came back and started shooting indiscriminately. Sadly, Leuea was shot and died after being transported to the hospital.
On behalf of the College of San Mateo’s bulldog football and MANA family, this GoFundMe page has been created to support the Loto family in honor and memory of Leuea. Because of the unexpected need and urgency, the goal to contribute these funds extends to next Wednesday November 28, 2018. Your donation will contribute to the financial costs the Loto family will use towards funeral expenses.
