Offering Comfort to Marlinda's Hopi Family

Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that I ask for prayers for my Hopi family.

This morning, my dearest friend Marlinda — Corn Maiden of the Corn Clan, First Mesa — and her husband Manny, both deeply rooted in the Hopi tradition, experienced an unimaginable loss. Their beloved 27-year-old granddaughter, Angel — whom they raised from birth — passed away unexpectedly in her sleep due to a sudden breathing anomaly. Her Uncle Fred discovered she had transitioned when he went to wake her.

This has been a devastating shock for Marlinda, their family, and for me personally. I am reaching out for your prayers, and for those who are able, any offerings or giveaway contributions that could help ease the financial burden for this traditional Hopi family. They live on First Mesa and are actively involved in the Kiva ceremonies — holding sacred space and prayer for the healing of the world.

Any support — spiritual or material — is a blessing.
