Offer Support for the Harper Family
Donation protected
The Van Ness Otter Family would like your help as we rally around the Harper Family to help support them in this very difficult time. Jevar Harper, loving father, son, husband and community member passed away due to COVID-19 complications. Two of Jevar's children are Van Ness Otters, Jaziah (grade 3) and Jordyn (grade pre K 3). We will continue to shower them with love but would like to do more to help out the Harper Family.
We would like to raise money to help cover the medical expenses that the Harper family incurred. Anita faces the daunting reality of being a single mother to five children while also adjusting to having lost her partner in life. We appreciate any donations to help ease the financial burden while the Harper family navigates through the grief of a senseless and blindsiding loss.
Jevar was a man of great character and leaves a legacy of faith and selflessness. He is a native Washingtonian that attended McKinley Tech H.S., where he played basketball and was a member of the school's Go-Go band (two of the things he enjoyed most). Some of Jevar's other hobbies included: cooking, singing, travelling, but most importantly spending time with loved ones.
