Offer a young Gazan woman a chance at life

Donation protected
My name is Emma, I am from France and I am fundraising for my friend currently stranded in Gaza. We met in university in the US, she had earned a position as a teaching assistant, giving her the chance to travel to the US and teach her language and culture. We often conversed about Palestine, her homeland, and how she wished the conflicts would end once and for all. She dreamed of seeing a day where her and her loved ones lived peacefully, free of worries. She envisioned a free Gaza where she could build a happy family. In our wildest dreams we talked about how I might one day be able to visit her there so she could show me all the beautiful places she told me about, how I would meet her parents, cousins and nephews and discover all the amazing food she described.
Today, her dream of living peacefully in Gaza came crashing down as the city crumbled under the attacks. The Gaza she knew is no longer there, just like the friends, neighbors, and family members she lost in this war. Despite her deep love for her homeland, she realizes there is no longer a future there.
This is why she has taken the tough decision to leave no matter what, as soon as possible. This means leaving her family and what's left of her home behind, but she wants to live. More than that, she wants to pursue her studies to one day be able to make a difference in her people's lives, help them get an education and dream bigger.
I want to help her do that. She deserves a chance at a better life.
This is where I need your help. Your support can make a monumental difference in her life. Any contribution, no matter how small, will bring her one step closer to safety and a brighter future.

As her father told her, "go and see your future because there is no future here". Let's help her see her future. Surviving in Gaza is becoming harder everyday, let's help her get out.

It will cost $5,000 for her to travel through the Rafah land crossing. It will cost her more to rebuild her live in a safe country and pursue her education.

She asked me if I think she is able to do it- rebuild her life, adapt somewhere new after everything she went through. She is terrified she won't be able to keep going, after the bombing, the sleepless nights, the screaming. I believe she can and I am convinced that she is stronger that all of us combined. We cannot imagine what Gazan people are going through.

To insure her safety, I am keeping her name anonymous. Any words of encouragement are welcome along with your donation.
One her behalf, I want to thank every donor. You help is so very much appreciated.
