Off to law school…maybe
Donation protected
As a high school senior, it was very unexpected for me to get pregnant. No one, not even myself, could believe it. At the end of my senior year, I looked down at my newborn son and told him and myself, “if there’s one thing I will do in this life, I will show you that no dream is too small, and regardless of circumstances, you can achieve anything.”
I feel most children usually dream of being a lawyer or doctor at one point in their lives. I was no different. I remember my mother telling me I would make an excellent attorney because I talked too much, always had a rebuttal, and always had to get my point across. She was right.
So far, I have been able to complete my Bachelors, and obtain three certificates by the age of 23. All while being full time employed and a single mother. WHEW!! I am now 24, and one more hurdle stands. I have completed my LSAT (and did pretty well) and have been accepted into law school. (Yay!) And now… I am required to pay a seat deposit for attendance.
Still struggling to keep up, I’m not sure if I will be able to attend without the help to secure the funds for the deposit by the due date.
I have overcame so many obstacles and haven’t looked back except to show others they can do it too.
I have three deposit deadlines, April 15, June 1, and July 1 for a total of $3,000. I do not ask others for help much, but this has always been my dream and I would greatly appreciate any donation to the cause.
