Hello friends & family,

       As I prepare to embark on my new journey to LA Trade Technical College, I am reaching out for your support and financial assistance. For the past 2 years, I haven’t had a chance to participate in organized basketball. I didn’t fully recognize the toll it took on my mental and emotional well-being until schools started to overlook my talents, as well as having to deal with the devastating loss of family and friends. Despite being faced with numerous challenges on the daily basis, I still managed to strive academically and work on my game because I knew another opportunity would come and here it is.

       While I am fortunate enough to have been granted scholarships and financial aid, my off-campus living arrangements will not be covered due to the junior college status. There is no on campus housing so I’ll have to figure out a way to pay for my living arrangements another way, which is why I’m asking for your support.

       Playing basketball and pursuing my education has been an essential outlet for me. They provide me with a sense of purpose. This opportunity at LA Trade Technical College holds a special place in my heart because it represents the fight I never gave up on. I am deeply grateful and excited because your contributions will directly impact my ability to focus on studies and basketball, allowing me to fully embrace this second chance given by god without being burdened by concerns.
