The Odyssey Literary Festival is an annual student-led initiative from RMIT's Professional Writing and Editing (PWE) program. Odyssey is devoted to supporting the voices of diverse writers and editors while equipping emerging student organisers with hands-on industry experience.

As a student-led festival rebuilding momentum, we're asking for a little bit of financial support from readers, writers, and anyone else invested in future-proofing Melbourne's vibrant and extraordinary literary scene.

Your donation will help us pay our guests, ensuring that writers, editors and artists get paid for their work.

The full program will be released soon! For program and ticketing updates, follow us on our socials or sign up to the mailing list through our website.

2026 Odyssey Literary Festival is supported by AusArt Day! AusArt Day is the 22nd of October, 2026, so we invite you to support our cause to Make Art Happen.
