Odin's Fight Against Cancer
This handsome guy is our very special nephew Odin! He loves to laugh, dance, have morning chats with his daddy, bird watch, watch "blank space", and snuggle his mommy!
With his parents’ permission we get to share his story!
This past Thursday (7-9-15) Kevin and Carrie were presented with the worst news parents could possibly hear... Their little boy has cancer.
After several days in the hospital with countless blood draws, invasive tests and numerous blood transfusions, Odin has been diagnosed with Pre B Cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Odin has an extremely long and hard road of 3+ year’s treatments ahead of him. After everything Odin has been through so far he still manages to smile and light up his family’s world!
We so admire the optimism and strength Carrie and Kevin has displayed through all this. If you know them personally it’s easy to understand, they are incredible people (ask their nieces and nephew) with big hearts! God couldn’t have chosen better parents to walk beside Odin through this journey!
We cannot imagine the kind of journey that Kevin and Carrie are about to embark on with Odin and in less than 10 weeks a sweet baby boy will be added to their little family. We would love to help minimize some of the financial stress that will undoubtedly accumulate along this journey…every dollar helps!
