Odin's Surgery Fund: Help Erin & Family

Hey friends and animal lovers, I’m Erin, dog mom to Odin. He’s a 1.5-year-old vacuum cleaner/shark (Australian Cattle Dog). “If it hits the ground it must be food” is his motto. He swallowed an embroidery needle a few days ago and, despite our best efforts, he did not pass it. His x-ray today confirmed that it is indeed embedded and we are waiting for results from the radiologist to find out if it has perforated any organs. Surgery is definitely in his immediate future.

Everything happens in 3s they say: Vaccinations three weeks ago, conjunctivitis last week, and now we’re looking at an unknown amount of bills for radiology, surgery, etc. He is insured but the deductible and our 20% is going to add up quickly and honestly we just don’t have the funds to cover it all.

We are hoping to raise enough to cover the medical costs and anything we might raise over that will go into a savings account for any future unexpected vet bills. He’s very rambunctious and curious, and stubborn so the chances of that are pretty high.
