Odin’s Emergency Vet Bill

Had to take Odin to the vet for an emergency appointment. All donations go to his hospital bill and any antibiotics he will need for after care. He was in a fight and definitely lost. The other dog is fine but Odin lost a lot of blood. Both of his forearms from the elbow up had extensive damage, especially the left arm which had a torn/ripped muscle. Both arms have little drains in them so that bacteria doesn’t settle. Vet stitched up over 30 wounds and removed bad tissue from the areas. They have a catheter in him right now so he doesn’t soil himself and his urine is dark yellow which does happen in muscle injuries. They are going to keep re-evaluating his kidney values as they were elevated Friday but have normalized so far. Vet has him on fluids, antibiotics, and pain meds. He isn’t able to walk still because of the sedating effect of the pain meds and obviously the injuries. The vet allowed 5 minutes in a room there for me to check on him. This is after I was able to visit. The longer he is there the more it will cost. Hopefully my visit will put him in good spirits to get better faster! Anything helps!
