Hi, my name is Dylan, Odin's father.
My son was diagnosed with Level 3 Autism Spectrum Disorder when he was two years old. This is the highest degree of autism on the spectrum.
Odin is extremely athletic, is very loving and has so much personality but struggles with communication and has only a couple single words in his verbal vocabulary. He can also sign a handful of words but is still struggling to utililize his tablet for communication. He has so much to say, but has such a hard time getting any words out.
Odin has attended speech therapies for years now but the progress has been very slow and limited. He practices forming words in the mirror all the time, but to no avail. I've even caught him putting bandaids over his mouth in hopes to fix his voice.
As he's gotten older, he's become more and more frustrated with his inability to communicate his feelings, thoughts desires and dreams. After years in ABA therapy his self injuring behavior has become increasingly frequent and it is heartbreaking to see how trapped he is by his inability to tell us what he's thinking feeling and needs.
We've tried all kinds of treatments, therapies, supplements, diets etc and feel like we have turned over every stone aside from Stem Cell therapy. After rigorous research, it seems that the Stem Cell Institute of Panama offers the best hope for meaningful neurological healing that could unlock Odin's world.
The Stem cells are ethically sourced from umbilical cords and cultured in Panama. For whatever reason, culturing is illegal in the U.S. but seems to make all difference in effective treatment.
