I got Odin in November of last year by quite literally plucking him up off the side of a gas station when he was begging for food. He had an obvious issue with his eye, so I think that’s why no one grabbed him. I took him home and my husband and I fell in love with the sweet boy. We got him vet care right away and gave him a nice soft blanket and all the food he could dream of. Thus far, Odin has been to the primary vet several times for routine checkups, vaccines, and regular care. Odin has also seen an emergency vet upon scares of not breathing/having an open airway. Currently, Odin is seeing a specialty clinic and has had one surgery with another coming up. His prior surgery was suppose to be a diagnostic surgery but results were inconclusive due to bacteria infecting the samples they took. We don’t know much right now, and we have had to space out care due to finances. I am a student in school full time and my husband works as well. Between bills and necessities, we don’t have much money left. We have already spent over $3,000 in vet care alone for Odin. We never anticipated receiving any help, but have had some friends and now you! We want to personally say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us out with our orange boy, I cannot express how greatful we are for your kindness and compassion. We have spent nights in tears about how helpless we feel when it comes to getting him the help he needs so he can live a long, happy life.
