Odin is our 2 years old French Bulldog and yesterday he was diagnosed with a ruptured disc (C 5-6). He was in a lot of pain and barley able to move when we went to the vet. For now, he is taking Muscle Relaxers, Steroids and Pain Killer. We will be monitoring his neurological movements until Wednesday 12/4/2019, to make sure his mobility improves in his right front and back legs and does not get any worse. On Thursday 12/5/2019 he will have a MRI to see if a bone is entering into his spinal cord. If so, we are facing the risk of paralyzing and we need to go ahead with an immediate surgery.
Odin is not our pet - he is family. He brings so much joy not only to our life but to everyone that meets him. We will do everything to make sure he will be fine again.
The costs for his treatment include:
~$600 Vet
~ $2200 MRI
~ $2000 Surgery
The vet hospital will not let us do payments, which means, we have to come up with that amount in the next two days.
Every donation over $30 will receive an Odin Strong T-Shirt.
All proceeds are going towards Odin's recovery.
