Hi everyone.

We are reaching out to any opportunity we can possibly find for our baby dog odie, he is a 9 year old schnauzer who has always still behaved like a puppy his entire life, always energetic, playful, and loving, he brought our entire family the spark of joy we all needed and has been for the past 9 years. He is our entire world.

Just one day in beginning of April 2026 all that energy suddenly stopped… He didn’t listen to us, he wouldn’t cuddle or play, he was sleeping all the time and just seemed sad overall. Until we noticed he wasn’t even able to make simple jumps, or go up a small step, he would start grunting if we tried to pick him up or make him do some standing tricks. He stopped jumping onto the couch or bed to be close to us, he fully stopped moving whatsoever.

We took him to the vet to get him an x-ray and there we found out he has 7 large cysts in his bladder and multiple tiny ones as well… He has been on intense pain killers so he could at least get on his feet to go to the bathroom but the medicine is so strong that his kidneys are also at risk of being damaged.

He has to have a surgery that is around 6k which must be done as soon as possible or else he could start peeing blood or it could turn into something so much worse like cancer. This amount of money is simply too much my family and I could nearly afford, the funds would go directly towards covering his surgery and every single dollar would help us not lose our boy. We don’t want anything else than to see him happy and healthy again.
