Grace (Mom) Odgens Emergency Medical & Farm Fund

Everyone,

I’m fundraising for Grace Ogden and her family. Grace is the dog breeder whom I purchased my Australian Shepherd from last year. In addition to breeding dogs, the Ogdens have three beautiful children, raise Nubian goats, chickens, hedgehogs and run a goat milk soap business. Grace was caught in a horrific accident while tree work was being done on their property. The quote below explains what happened.

“We were bringing down a large oak tree and as it came down in the wrong direction Grace tried to outrun it but was unfortunately pinned down underneath. She was life flighted to Ruby. So far she has 3 broken ribs 4 fractured vertebrae, broken shoulders lacerated kidney, sprained ankle, multiple abrasions, contusions, and lacerations including a 4.5 inch laceration that goes to the skull. We still waiting for an xray of her hips because she can't move them. She is in significant pain and resting while we wait to hear some more test results. If anyone in the area is interested in fostering a few of the puppies please let us know”

Praise the Lord, that Grace is alive at all. Grace is currently waiting for more test results and imaging to be completed so they can understand the extent of the damage. Grace and her family are located in West Virginia. Their immediate community is stepping in to help foster puppies. Like myself, there are many people who are to far to offer physical support and are looking for a place to send financial gifts. This page is for you. Having gone through traumatic, emergency injuries as a child, I know the financial toll it takes, even with insurance. Please help lighten this families load. Medical bills will be it's own burden for this family. However, the cost of maintaining and keeping a farm running while it is not producing actively is it's own need entirely. Your support will help this family get through a horrific accident.
