These masks were designed in response to the shortage during this crisis. Way too many health care workers + their loved ones reached out saying they have little to no PPE and are watching nurses sew makeshift gear out of surgical bedding / bandanas between shifts.
A number of local businesses and community members reached out to donate and help cover the cost of production. It is amazing to see such support for the hospital workers and I'm grateful to be a part of it.
If you would like to donate, know that for every $100 raised a box of 10 reusable masks will go out to a hospital floor in need.

UPDATE!! 4/26/2020!! This has been incredible and the outpouring of support from the community is really something we all should be proud of. This campaign raised almost $5,000 and donated +300 masks to hospitals including:
Good Samaritan Hospital
South Hampton Hospital
Stony Brook Hospital
St. Catherine's Hospital
NY Presbyterian
It's great to see that hospitals are being stocked with appropriate masks for the Health Care Workers. There is still plenty demand within the medical community / first response teams / among patients in the hospitals etc. We will continue to make and donate masks over the next few weeks to those in need and will make over 500 masks before this is all over! Thank you all for being a part of this!!
