Two weeks ago I picked up two young Cattle Dog Puppies to foster. They are the result of a backyard breeding situation I have been working on for several years. The owner has finally promised to spay the female, but not before she had a final litter of puppies.
One of the puppies I picked up was very ill. After refusing to eat for two days and being very listless, we rushed her to the vet to learn that she had parvo and a bad case of giardia. Not willing to give up on her, we opted to have her treated.
Thankfully, she was given treatment in time and is now healthy and happy! Being a single rescue mission, the medical bills are hefty, and any help to cover those would be greatly appreciated. We just want to give this little puppy the best opportunity to a full life that we can!
