Oculus Rift VR Stroke Therapy
A month ago, my father had a massive stroke. It left him with no feeling or movement on his entire left side.
Now that he is out of danger, he has had two weeks of physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. He is making progress, but will leave the hospital REHAB in 2 more weeks. My mother Page will be taking care of him as I live in Oregon.
He needs continued therapy to walk, use his left hand and arm and be able to speak clearly.
We have found that the Oculus Rift Virtual Reality unit is showing remarkable rehabilitative results for stroke patients.
The unit and games comes to $2500 and once he gets all the benefit from it possible, we plan on donating it to the St. Mary's hospital here in Grand Junction, Colorado for other stroke patients to use.
We also need a Amp Research Power Step XL so he can get in and out of our vehicle safely. The total for the lowered power step is $2200 with installation.
We understand that it is difficult to just give money to someone, and so we want to pay you back in our own way. My father has been a master beekeeper for years and we want to send you 10 lbs. of raw, New Mexico honey for a $1000 dontation, 5 lbs. of honey for a $500 donation, 3 lbs. of honey for a $250 donation and 1 lb. of honey for a $100 donation.

My father only has so many months in which to take advantage of a healing window. Once past that time, healing will be slowed dramatically or be non-existent.
We need the funds immediately. This unit can make all the difference in how well he walks and whether he has the use of his left arm for the rest of his life..
