Hi, my name is Alyssa Wysocki. I am starting this gofundme for my friend Cindy Smith. If you know Cindy, you know that she is amazing, and you know that she would do whatever she could to help anyone in need. If you don't know her, I will give you a little background. Cindy is a good, hard-working, strong, and supportive woman. But right now, she needs us to be all of those things for her.

On Friday, March 25th, Cindy went to the eye doctor with some pain, floaters, and blurry vision in her right eye. Fear of a detached retina turned into a rare intraocular diagnosis. Cindy has a medium/large cancerous tumor in her right eye. This type of cancer is called Ocular (Uveal) Melanoma and is a rare type of cancer. This can be treated (if successful) with a radioactive plaque. As far as Cindy is aware, this cancer has not spread into other parts of her body but will need to be monitored carefully.

Cindy has surgery on May 12th and needs our help with the number of medical bills coming from this surprise diagnosis. Whether it is saying a prayer, sending a meal, or donating to help her pay her medical bills, it would be SO appreciated. For the ten years that I have known Cindy, she has never asked for help from me, and I haven't heard her ask for help from others. Now is our opportunity.
