Fundraiser for the October 7th survivers

Hi, my name is Anat and I'm fundraising for my friends, the Mahler family that survived October 7th.

The community of Kfar Aza was home to roughly 800 people. It was a strong community, and everyone was like one big family. My friend Shaked grew up there and was a survivor of the Kfar Aza massacre on October 7th, 2023 and I am asking your help to help her.

Shaked's father was killed by a rocket sent from Gaza in 2008. The rocket killed him in their backyard. All of the Kfar Aza community has supported Shaked's family since that tragedy, up until the events of October 7th. The Kfar Aza family was destroyed. 52 people were murdered, 7 people were kidnapped and 13 are still missing, and these are not the final numbers. On that same day, Shaked and her young family had returned to visit their family in Kfar Aza when they were trapped on October 7th.

Shaked, her husband, and her two month old baby were heldhostage in their safe room for 27 hours. This scared young family had no food, no water, and were frightened to death. The baby, too, went without food after his mother had to go so long without nourishment, she was unable to breastfeed him.

Thank G-d, they survived the attack. At this time, the family is staying at a house in the center of

Israel in the home of a woman who volunteered to host them. When all the funerals and shivas

are done, Shaked, her husband, and her baby, want to leave Israel for a month and stay with

loved ones in the U.S. They need time away from the chaos to process and recover from the

disaster.

In order to make the trip to the States and back, they are in need of $8,000. This will help cover

the costs of their three flights as well as food, baby supplies, clothes, and the funds to support

themselves for the month away from home.

This family has lost so much and endured the unimaginable, please help to bring them an

ounce of comfort by aiding their time away to mend from these horrors.
