Today is Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day, October 13th. It's not just any day; it's one thousands of US live every day, and YOU can help! My Ribbon was PINK for many years but like many fabrics the color bled now my Ribbon is called Metastatic. Although Pink is still my favorite color. To be honest for years I was called "Queen of Fun & Fundraising" for many organizations I wanted to make a difference for and I loved it. I continued even after being " So Called Closet Metastatic Breast Cancer Survivor" I decided after so many younger people being diagnosed I would dedicate my future in helping raise Awareness & Funding for a CURE and Research while Im still able. I normally do a birthday fundraiser to pay forward the organizations that have helped me to be able to celebrate each birthday. My birthday was in July, and my heart & health were not in a place to do so. I'm asking today to celebrate my birthday on October 13th Metastatic Breast Cancer Day please. Im asking my friends, acquaintances, strangers to join me? I live and breathe HOPE for a Cure for Metastatic Breast Cancer everyday with Gratitude as MANY do not share this luxury of life! However I need to share its the only day PINK acknowledges such a diagnosis that 25% to 30 % of even early diagnosed people go on to be diagnosed. Metastatic Breast Cancer is when the breast cancer returns relentless at times to another part of the body sometimes like me with NO warning This October I’d love your support for Twisted Pink Inc., an incredible organization dedicated to providing HOPE, Connection, and Dollars for critically needed RESEARCH for those living like me with metastatic breast cancer. Your contributions will make a meaningful impact on their mission to fund research and raise awareness about this challenging disease I live my life with HOPE & Gratitude with!
