Octavious Burris ExoSym Brace

Hello Everyone! My name is Octavious. I was born with a rare condition called CFD, that caused my left leg to grow extremely slower than the right leg. I’ve had successful surgeries all throughout my childhood that has lengthened my leg. However, I still have pain in my ankle to the point I cannot stand on my legs without the support of the ExoSym brace. Before the ExoSym, I was contemplating amputation after graduating high school this year. My mother and family was devastated. 

By the Grace of God, we were led to research the brace and found Ryan Blanck and was able to meet with him, and thankfully, I was a candidate for the ExoSym brace!

This brace has given me the opportunity to take longer walks with my family in the park and to go with my friends to the mall. I finally feel like a normal teen without being in excruciating pain. 

Although I have this brace, the insurance will not pay for it... therefore my mother has helped me as much as she can. I am so very thankful to have a mother like her❤️❤️❤️. She has been my cheerleader since the beginning.
