Octavias Long Recovery

My name is Darice Browning and I gave birth to my sweet Octavia 7/7/21 at 29 weeks. She was born 11 weeks early and has had a rough go at life ever since. She’s been in and out of the nicu for the last 3 months and has had 5 nicu admissions at 3 different hospitals. It has taken this long to determine she has ASD which is a hole in her tiny heart, chronic lung disease, a milk protein allergy and face, jaw and skull deformity. Just today she had surgery to have G tube put in her stomach and redirect her stomach around her esophagus.

Although we are a military family and they have treated us so well, Insurance doesn’t cover everything. So far we’ve gone through $1300 of our own personal savings to get to and from the hospital, medical bills and specialist doctor visits for all of her needs.

my sweet little “yoshi” deserves the best care possible including family support back home in WASHINGTON. Anything you donate will go directly to her ever growing medical bills and what’s topped after will go to her travel to SEATTLE CHILDRENS HOSPITAL.
