Help me fight M.S

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Maha and I have M.S.  Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis  that I’ve been fighting for a good 24 years now. I need a costly therapy preFerably asap Most of you know me as this cheerful upbeat kind of person always laughing, smiling with such positive energy  even though I have all kind of aches and pains, infections, dysfunctions, you name it.  I’m in a wheelchair. paralyzed from the waist down with the left hand out-of-action and, as of lately, difficulty swallowing food, water and breathing (and talking, coughing, sneezing and... singing!!)

I’ve tried almost everything available out there to slow down the aggression: Intravenous (IV), injections, pills… everything except OCREVUS that was only introduced last year and for which I was not qualified or could be covered for.

Ocrevus  is a prescription medicine used to treat adults with Relapsing Remitting or Primary Progressive forms of Multiple Sclerosis. I have the Secondary Progressive form.

I was referred to this neurologist, an M.S specialist, in Egypt that after consulting with did prescribe me Ocrevus. He put me in touch with the product-representative who gave me back some hope by reaffirming the neurologist’s beliefs: “In Secondary Progressive cases, Ocrevus can definitely end the progression.” Stop it. No more.

So I’m going for it.

I need to raise $16,200

I’m asking anyone out there that cares, remembers me fondly, knows me well (or maybe not) to go-fund me as little as you can or more if you could.

My goal is to collect enough to cover 2 half year treatments at $6000 each
($6000 x2 = $12,000) and for a 24/7 nurse aid at $700 per month, for the first six month soon after the first IV infusion, ($700 x6 = $4,200) to monitor side effects that may occur  at any moment, and replace the current part  time one.

Total ($12,000 + $4200 = $16,200)

I can’t do this on my own anymore.
I need some help.  I need support.

Thanks guys.

About OCREVUS:

OCREVUS is given every 6 months. The first dose of OCREVUS will be given as 2 separate infusions 2 weeks apart. These will last about 2.5 hours each. Every dose after my first will be given as 1 single infusion 6 months apart, lasting about 3.5 hours. Before each infusion of OCREVUS I will receive corticosteroids and an antihistamine to help reduce infusion related reactions

OCREVUS is given under the close supervision of an experienced healthcare provider with access to appropriate medical support to manage any severe reactions such as serious IRRs.
